Ordos Basin, 2012-2013
InSeptember 2012, our company conducted plugging removal tests by using BERO™ biosurfactant on 4 wells of Yanchang Oilfield Zhiluo Oil Production, effectively removed the organic plug of test wells and restored the oil flowing channels of production wells. Take one of them for example, the treatment result is as follows:
The analysis result shows that the main reason for decrease of production is the plugging of the near-wellbore area by organic matters such as wax and asphalt contained in crude oil. In September 2012, BERO™ biosurfactant was mixed with formation water and injected in the well to remove plugging and stimulate production and the temperature of the injection fluid was above 122℉. During construction, pressure rose from 0 psi to 1450 psi.
After shut-in for 5 days, it resumed production and then its production greatly increased. Its daily oil production increased from 3.1 BOPD to 10.8 BOPD.
Junggar Basin, 2009-2010
BERO™ biosurfactant is characterized in that it has strong ability in releasing hydrocarbon (oil) on all solid surfaces, is a non-acidizing plugging removal agent and will not cause secondary contamination to the formation and or disturb crude oil dehydration and sewage treatment system, so it is used for full plugging removal according to the production need and the requirements of geological solution of some4 wells of Xinjiang Oilfield.

2) The well resumed production after shut-in for 120 hours and their liquid production continuously increased after opening.
3) After using BERO™ biosurfactant as plugging removal agent, liquid production obviously increased and daily liquid production increased by several times.
4) After construction, dynamic liquid level rose obviously and there is sufficient liquid, indicating that the permeability of the formation nearby bottom hole and the liquid supply capacity of the formation are improved after construction.
In November 2009, BERO™ biosurfactant was mixed with formation water and injected in the well to remove plugging and stimulate production.After shut-in for 5 days, it resumed production and then its production greatly increased. Its daily oil production increased from 7.2 BOPD to 39.7 BOPD and waterproduction increased from 1.9 BWPD to 4.1 BWPD.By the end of February 2010, the proven oil production increased 4,896 bbls.
After the use of BERO™ biosurfactant, those three wells obtained good stimulation effect and as of the end of February 2010, proven oil production increased by 15,811.2 bbls (5,270.4 bbls per well) and these three wells still have development value.
Qinghai basin, 2006-2007
In the first half year of 2006, BERO™ biosurfactant produced by the Company was applied in oil wells of Wunan Block of Qinghai Oilfield; some well of Qinghai Oilfield was perforated and put into production in December 1997, and developed through pumping, with daily oil production of 61.2 BOPD and 8 BWPD; in August 1999, acidizing plugging removal was conducted on this well and the oil production and water of this well were 6.5 BOPD and 1.1 BWPD respectively before plugging removal and 9 BOPD and 3 BWPD respectively after plugging removal; and oil production increased by 605 bbls in total. In May 2000, the cumulative oil production increase reached 338 bbls after re-perforating; re-perforating conducted in 2002 and 2004 had no effect on stimulation, this well was under the condition of pumping suspension and dragging oil for a long time and by March 2006, about 14.4 bbls/month oil (with a water cut of 85%) has been dragged from this well.
According to the effect and characteristics of BERO™ biosurfactant and the production need and geological solution of the well of Qinghai Oilfield, we carried out the plug removal of this well by using BERO™ biosurfactant in March 2006 and then this well was shut in for 5 days; its daily oil production reached 50.4 BOPD within 7 days after this well resumed production, maintained at about 8.6 BOPD from April 2006 to January 2007 and reached 2.2 BOPD from January 2007 to April 2007. So far, oil production increases by about 2,779 bbls (1608%) on a cumulative basis.
